Francis Armstrong

Principal Associate, Client services

When it comes to communications expertise, you could say that Francis Armstrong has been around the block a few times.

With a career spanning 30 years, he’s seen just about everything. He’s worked at many shops including Young & Rubicam, and he spent 14 years as managing partner at PDG, so he knows what it takes to lead a company. He is intimately familiar with the inner workings of the industry. Which means he shines as a star at our company with consummate style and wide-ranging experience.

Always up on the latest trends, he tackles every subject fearlessly. And when it comes to untangling complex problems and crafting an out-of-the-box message that sets the client apart from the crowd, Francis always delivers. Relying on multitude of sources for his analyses and inspiration, he is an accomplished team leader who has put his multidisciplinary approach to work for Bleublancrouge’s consumer and institutional advertising clients since 2001.

The work of this adept businessman and creative force has delighted major clients like RONA, Bombardier and Molson Coors Brewing Co. in the past, and today he’s doing the same for Olymel, and Chambre des notaires du Québec. He also helped BBR’s campaign for The Gazette garner international acclaim in Cannes, at the Créas, the New York Festival, and the INMA awards, where it was selected best newspaper marketing campaign in the world. Francis’ positive influence extends to the industry as a whole too, through his work as vice president of the board of directors of the Association of Quebec Advertising Agencies. But he makes a point of being approachable, accessible and it shows in the adoration he garners from clients and the respect he receives from competitors. We’re very glad his current trip around the block is with Bleublancrouge.
