A slogan for the better
The adaptation of the latest Western Union campaign, This is WU, was the beginning of a happy revolution. When we first looked at the new platform, we noticed something was off: while the English slogan had been upgraded to ‘moving money for better’, the French slogan of unknown origins had survived the redesign and was supposedly untouchable. Convinced that Western Union needed a signature that better reflected its altruistic vision, we took it upon ourselves to re-write it, making sure we were able to justify our approach. That’s how Envoyer de l’argent pour le mieux (the French equivalent of Sending Money for the Better) became Votre argent, mené à bien. Consider it our contribution to making a valuable partner—who believes in solidarity and mutual assistance—shine.
