Bleublancrouge welcomes Alex Béland as Creative Director

Alex will help reshape BBR’s creative vision and raise the bar on innovation and client value.

Bleublancrouge is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Béland as Creative Director. In this role, Alex will help advance BBR’s ambitious creative vision and push innovation even further across the agency’s work.

With more than 15 years of agency experience, Alex is well known in the industry for his strong sense of the craft. He has led creative mandates for major brands including Volkswagen, Couche-Tard and Amnesty International, earning recognition at home and abroad along the way.

At Bleublancrouge, Alex will play a key role in redefining what creativity looks like at a time when agencies are rethinking how to create value. He will focus on expanding the space where ideas can exist, as well as how they can be brought to life in meaningful, tangible ways.

“Bleublancrouge isn’t afraid to face change head-on,” says Alex Béland, who is excited about returning to the agency. “The role of agencies is evolving, and so is creativity. Here, there’s a real willingness to challenge ourselves. Coming back is meaningful for me. I’m proud to rejoin one of the country’s longest-standing independent creative agencies.”

Alex’s arrival comes at a moment when BBR is looking to raise the bar creatively and, in many ways, rethink it altogether. “Creativity isn’t just about what we deliver,” says Yann Mooney, Vice President, Creative, at Bleublancrouge. “It’s about offering our clients new perspectives and anchoring them in reality. Alex shares this ambition and has a close connection to the ideas themselves, which will help us continue pushing both our own limits and those of our clients.”

The best decisions start with real conversations.
